Covid-19 Delays Umpire Training (Updated)

We hope everyone is staying safe.  We know we are all waiting to life getting back to normal but we will be waiting a little longer until things get going. See the note below which our group will be following

The Alberta Softball Umpires Association is looking at hosting some online training sessions with information to follow.

Stay positive and we will see you soon

———

Please be advised that the Alberta Softball Umpires Association will be following the recent guidance on suspending activities until May 1.

Softball Canada and Softball Alberta recently announced measures to curtail the spread or potential exposure to the COVID-19 Virus.

For that reason we will follow suit and not be holding the following events:

  • ASUA Super Clinic – has been cancelled for the current year.
  • Umpire Clinics that were scheduled within this timeline.
  • Any other activities that are organized under Softball Canada, Softball Alberta, ASUA or your local zone branch.

For the Super Clinic scheduled for March 28th, we plan to run it again next Winter, sometime between late Jan and Mid-March 2021.

Other opportunities for education are also being explored.
